The most valuable things that I came out of the class with were the netvibes/ PLE concept and blogging. It opened a lot of doors to my interest with the music scene. The best use of blogging as a collective effort of bringing music tastes, artists, and everything related together was in a website I found called The Hype Machine. This is what I found on the web that most resembles what I want to do with what I’ve learned in the course. When I came into the course I didn’t see myself as someone who wanted to be a web designer who dealt with music, but rather a music promoter/ artist who felt like the internet is the best way and the future of the business.
